THE PROCESS

1 / Initial Consultation

I will visit you at home to look at your garden and hear about your ideas for the garden.  I will walk around the garden and discuss the changes you’d like to make.  I will look at the current planting and test the soil.  At this stage it is useful to talk about budget.

2 / Site Survey

If the scale of the project is very large, I will appoint a surveyor to carry out a site survey.  If planning permission is required for any elements of the proposed design, I will make introductions to the relevant professionals.

3 / Presentation of Concepts

Based on the survey, I will present mood boards, rough plans, an outline cost estimate and a timetable

4 / Scale Drawings

After the concept has been approved, I will produce scale presentation plans, 3D CAD models, construction drawings (if necessary) and planting plans.  Specifications for contractors are also agreed, after which I can oversee the tendering process.

5 / Construction and Landscaping

Construction work and landscaping is overseen by me, to ensure everything is built according to the drawings

6 / Planting

I will order trees and plants from my trusted specialists nurseries, selecting the plants for each project.  I will arrange and oversee delivery of stock and set out plants.

7 / After Care

A Care Plan is created at the end of each project, which is a month-by-month guide to looking after your new plants.

I can also arrange gardeners and contractors to look after your garden once construction & planting has been completed.
